5-18 year Olds Sports Specific Classes
Are you involved in a sport already? Why not ask about our sport specific classes- we can tailor a strength and stretch class to most sports, helping you gain the competitive advantage in your chosen sport, or even just to help you reach your own personal goal!
For example- for team sports such as hockey, football, rugby and soccer, we can help you develop your change of direction skills- thus allowing you to quickly turn around and dodge out of your opponents way, or if you manage to gain possession, you can quickly change direction and be the main instigator in winning that most important goal!
Or if you are a swimmer, competancy in activities such as agility, balance and co-ordination, running, jumping are best developed out of the water and help swimmers to improve their skill which will ultimately impact on better stroke techniques and starting and turning. In addition, swimmers will develop a more balanced physical development that will ultimately assist in the avoidance of injuries.
The classes allows us to provide a greater resistance to particular exercises than is possible in water, and therefore overload for strength and power development has greater possibilities.
Above all, within any sports you’ll need good balance, core strength and flexibility to enable you to be as fast and tricky for your opponents as possible!
